Migration Complete
NEPABlogs.com is pleased to announce that the migration to our new host is now complete. If you’ve been following us closely, you’ll notice that a few blogs are missing from our lineup. Reel Pennsylvania has gone on hiatus while its author works through the details of a migration of his own. Adventure Chick will be reorganized under a different name with a new team of writers at the helm. Check back in a few weeks for the latest news on the great outdoors of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Finally, Modern Mom will be bringing new writers to the team full of fresh and interesting ideas about what it is to be a “Modern Mom”. Read more…

Please pardon the half-opened boxes as we settle into our new space…
We are in the process of moving nepablogs.com to our new host and new blogging platform. It is our hope that this migration will be wrapped up by mid-January 2007. Along with the new look, we’ll be bringing you a few new blogs as we work to expand our offering.
Until then, you can still find all your favorites at nepablogs.com. Watch for the “We’re Moving” post as each blog moves over in turn. Take a look over at the first of the sites to migrate - mysmartwedding.com. There are many more to come.
Thanks for your patience…

NEPABlogs.com Wants You!
We are in the process of growing our team of writers, expanding into new subject areas and new neighborhoods. Writing for NEPABlogs.com is a great way to gain experience and exposure while writing about something that is near and dear to your heart. We believe that when you empower passionate and talented individuals with all the tools they need, great things are sure to follow.
You may ask yourself, what would I write about and why would anyone want to read it? We’ll address the second question first by saying that if the internet has demonstrated anything since weaving its way into the very fabric of our society its that there is an audience for practically anything. Our job is to make sure that audience finds your work. To the question of what you would write about - well, if you live, work or play in Northeastern Pennsylvania, you’re off to a great start. The range of topics is limited only by the near limitless breadth of experiences available to you in NEPA. If you can write well, with style and passion, then bring your ideas. Read more…

And Now, Our Starting Lineup…
This week, NEPABlogs.com will take its innaugural steps into the blogosphere and, in doing so, begin its mission to bring you news, information, and commentary from across Northeastern Pennsylvania as written by an ever-growing army of citizen journalists.
We are pleased to introduce our first group of writers and their blogs. It is only fitting that a “starting lineup” would begin with a sports-themed blog and, with that in mind, we bring you “Boston Red Thoughts” by Christine E. with thoughts “From a Red-Headed Boston Fan in Yankeeland”. Christine, a lifelong student of the game and a die-hard Boston fan, combines her wealth of knowledge with a sometimes twisted sense of humor to offer commentary on one of the oldest traditions in professional baseball.
